The Story of Liza Green Artisan Chocolates

Liza Green Artisan Chocolates are unique, combining classic flavours with a modern twist, based in West Hampstead, London.

 

They are the ultimate feel good chocolates and give you an explosion of flavour and a visual feast all in one!

Liza has been fascinated by chocolate from a young age, smitten by visits to chocolatiers in Brussels where she grew up.

 

Her passion for chocolate continued even after Liza moved to the UK and a flourishing career in TV and the BBC.

Liza is a graduate of the Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy in the UK and Ecole Chocolat in Canada.

Ingredients

We only use finest ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. Because our chocolates are fresh, handcrafted and use natural ingredients, we avoid artificial flavours, chemical preservatives and excessive sugar.  

That also means they have a limited, three week shelf life and have to be hastily consumed.   

We use carefully sourced Belgian chocolate from two manufacturers: 

Belcolade chocolate is produced according to time honoured traditional methods with the finest ingredients and a passion for sustainability.   

Callebaut has been crafting its Finest Belgian Chocolate in the heart of Belgium for more than 100 years and is rightly proud of its reputation for traceable cocoa beans.  

The main chocolate types we use are:

Belcolade lait selection: combines the flavour of cocoa with soft, creamy milk and vanilla undertones.

Belcolade noir supreme:  offers a mild bitterness with a fresh, fruity note.

Belcolade blanc selection:  provides the unparalleled sensation of pure white chocolate made with 100% vanilla and cocoa butter

Callebaut Ruby:  The fruity, fresh, sour notes are all derived from the Ruby cocoa bean and its pink colour should not be confused with flavoured chocolate!  We use it in particular to complement the flavour of fresh berries.

Our chocolates may contain nuts and potential other allergens. Full ingredients are listed with every box.

Environment

We do everything we can to minimise our environmental impact.   Our chocolate boxes are recyclable and we source locally wherever we can.  

Kitchens

All our chocolates are produced in house in our kitchens based in West Hampstead London.
